I'm seriously considering the switch to KDE.
I like my GNOME, but KDE is more eye candy, and appears to have more applications native to it.
Convince me one way or the other.
KDE vs. GNOME. GO!

Same stuff, different names.
I don't check this place often, sorry.
Currently working on - Software Engineering degree. Thank you SRL for showing me the one true path
You're showing a *very* plain picture of GNOME, while you show an OK picture of KDE. Why don't you show Ubuntu's GNOME?

I thought they both showed each doing very similar things.

Soo... I've made the switch to Debian Squeeze & KDE.
I'm loving KDE! It feels very smooth in comparison to GNOME. I also really like the flexibility of KDE and the more open nature of the software.

Mono is a microsoft deviant.
Flex, more or less just in general it feels like it. I did make a broader sweeping statement than I intended though.

Face to palm.
Mono is made by Novell. It's designed to allow for natively running .NET apps in GNU/Linux. Mono is open-source and is in no way run by Microsoft.
Calling Mono a Microsoft deviant is like calling WINE a Windows deviant...
Also, I have no idea why you are behaving as if GNOME isn't 100% free (gratis and libre) software? It is.
