Exclamation How can I manually install .net framework 3.0?

Hello, I keep getting an error on my windows 7(Tiny7): "You must use "Turn Windows features on or off" in the Control Panel to install or configure Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0.". I wen't into "Turn Windows Features on or off" and there was only .net framework 3.5.1 UNCHECKED. So I checked it and applyed it and it said wait a few moments and then it came up with an error "An error has occureed. Not all of the features were successfully changed.". Then it told me to restart my pc so I did and after that I wen't back into Windows Features and .net framework 3.5.1 is still UNCHECKED! I tryed over and over again and it didn't work! So I wen't to Run and typed Installer and .net framework 1.0, 2.0, and 4.0 is in there but not 3.0! So im guessing it is not installed! So I was thinking if I can manually install it, it could recognize it! Can someone tell me how or point me to a link showing me how to do this? I can't install Sony Vegas or 3ds max without 3.0 or 3.5.1 and some reason beta 4.0 doesn't get detected by those programs.

    Apparently you can't.

".NET Framework 3.0 and 3.5 are REMOVED from this slimmed-down OS, and they can not be installed in any known way."

:O!!!!!!!! Why the hell would they remove it! Anyway, Does anyone got an alternative to Sony Vegas like another video editing software that is just as good? I already found an alternative to 3ds max which is Maya.

There's no video editing software as good as Sony Vegas. That's why they can charge so much for it.
