Question Converting Audio from a video file?

Hello, I am trying to watch Furry Vengeance to watch on my Xbox 360 but the Xbox 360 only support 2Channel Audio and the movie is HD 720P so the audio is 6 channels so the xbox doesn't support that like PS3 does. So I was thinking... Could I convert the audio from the movie to 2 channels instead? If so, How could I do this?

Yeah, of course you can. With the help of some program, you can easily get the audio from videos. I always use it to convert youtube video to audio, it can help you get high quality audio, and the program can also get the audio from FLV video already on your computer.

You could even chuck it into movie maker I think, and just delete the video, and keep the audio?

Read the actual thread and not just the title.

On-Topic: I have had much success with MediaCoder. It has many advanced options which make it easier (or harder for some).

If you record the audio and then try to match it with the video, you are going to get horrible desync. It will be like watching an old English dubbed Kung Fu movie. you need something that will convert the audio within the whole format.
