The srl playerform kinda sucks. SRL should decide how they as a whole would like it to work, and then someone can remake it, because the way it is now is kinda silly, and complicated.

From my experience SRL is all about being hard to read and over complicated.

It was most likely planned to be written like that. If it's not "impressive" it's not SRL quality. That's what I got from it.

But it's not impressive. It's inefficient and has too much code. It just makes no sense to continue using something so silly, especially if you have to fix it to make it work

SRL Player form needs to be scrapped and redone completely.

And who actually uses it in their production of scripts?

It's either their own form or inputting the values before runtime.

If it didnt suck, people might use it in their scripts more often rather than writing their own. Generally, people need flexibility in their form for the inputs, and im not sure how well the playerform does this, but...that's may be part of the problem.
