Few questions about viability. (I really don't mean to sound harsh, though I worry it may be misread as so.)
Is this concept still ridiculously bannable like it used to be?
Is it worth tokkuling any more, now that the outside TzHaars drop like 10x previous amounts, everything costs like 10x previous amounts, but the caves don't give any more than they used to?
Even more annoying, you get hit by randoms while you're outside, don't you?
Or do you mean, you're doing this for the exp?
Wow. I've been gone a very long time indeed. So much has changed.

That sounds pretty impractical to me though. Lots of monsters will spawn at the corners and then take some time before they get to you. When they do arrive, you bash them for a little while, and then they die, and you've got to wait for the next wave to get around to you. It's as if you were training somewhere with the monsters spread far out, and you had to run to each next one. Assuming you do a rather constant rate of damage, if you're only fighting half the time, you'll get only half the exp you could be. Compare this with a spot like giant spiders or something (which also barely requires any food with 40+ def), where there's 10+ in a small room and you're constantly being attacked and fighting back, and you only need to reset aggression occasionally. Sure, you can't be watched by legits in the cave, but you could probably find some abandoned spots for that, if you're really going to do p2p. Only advantage I can imagine is the free prayer top-up but that's not that great, really.

    @forgotmyname. advantages:

    highly unlikely to get reported
    99% in the cave
You can die and you just reenter the cave
    No fear of losing items
    Fast exp

Agree with all of these but the last. Caves is maybe half the exp of a lot of mediocre-ish spots, many of which aren't crowded on members. Plus, they've been historically monitored by Jagex to some extent, as far as I've seen, just from the surprisingly large number of people who got banned the last time I saw a popular caver script. I expect this more than offsets the likelihood of getting reported in some sort of obscure training spot.

Really, I can think of some regular fighting spots that have essentially these benefits. You take relatively little damage and fight most of the time, so it's fast-ish and mostly risk free with regard to dying or food concerns. The spots are quite obscure, so most legits either don't know or don't care about them, and yet they're somewhat suboptimal, so knowledgeable legits go better places.

My main complaints with caves for exp:

Every monster spawns at one of the spots randomly, but most of these spawn spots are the corners of the room. Then, either you have to go to them, they have to come to you, or some combination of the above.

A lot of the monsters have either low hp (the flyers, mini blobs) or high defense (everything above and maybe even including the rangers). Dying and respawning wastes your time, especially since you have to start from the flyers, which are pretty terrible exp.

Can't really use potions. You die often enough that you'd waste most of the duration of a super set if you choose to use it. If you don't, then that's wasted exp compared to if you had been using a super set at a regular spot. Dragon battleaxe special fixes the strength concerns, but ruins your defense and accuracy.

    ...

Once again, I'm not saying caves is bad, so much as I'm saying it no longer has significant advantages (tokkul) over botting combat in a variety of other ways. These days if you want to make a p2p autofighting script specialized to a particular spot, there are better choices for that. 20-40k exp/hr isn't hard using conventional training methods, but caves is hardly going to get you near there.

Its really the users preference what they want to do, no reason it shouldn't be made.

Fight caves has its advantages and disadvantages just like everything else. The biggest thing is its easy to script, if another was made I would like to see some extras put into it. For example advance breaks and maybe banking to switch to ranging or the like. This would lower suspicion greatly.

Narcle I like the way you think. The switching skill idea is a great idea, highly support.
