    Default Neverwinter Nights 2

I recently got a copy of vanilla nw2. I am currently playing as a human ranger with 2 weapon combat path.

I was wondering about two things.

    1. Which are the best expansions to get?

    2. What character choices would you recommend to make my ranger the best fighter possible? I'm still trying to get caught up on all the D&D knowledge and tricks.

    I remember this game.....
I got it from my dad a long time ago, probably 4-5 years... He told me it was one of the best games ever. I tried it and hated it :P
I was a midget thief xP

    I don't really know anything about OP's question.. >_<

I was not impressed by how good of reviews it got compared to how fun it was. Once I got over that though, I started to moderately enjoy it. I don't really have other games to play right now that I haven't over played.

I like going Sorcerer also Weapon Master owns too. I've played NWN2 to a point but never finished it. I prefer NWN (first one) over 2nd one. I've beaten all the campaigns in first NWN.

If you want a good range fighter you go all Ranger or subclass into Arcane Ranger (or w/e its called been awhile). If you want a badass 'Fighter' go fighter and get the prerequisites for a Weapon Master, they rape face.

I always played a magic user as I like the sophisticated type.

Weapon Master... I had considered that, but it didn't look like it had the best benefits. That's probably just because I don't know enough about D&D. Currently I am using a parry strategy. I have my parry skill maxed out, enabling me to take on a whole bunch of dudes at once.

The KEY to Weapon Master is getting your critical Multiplier up and range up. Rapiers are pretty good, their base crit is 18-20 or some shit, and with weapon master u can get it to 15/16-20 range with x3 multiplier. Scythe is sick bc it starts at x4 multiplier and u can raise it up to x6 at high lvl, one hit wonder. So with Scythe say u crit and the base dmg is 6+5 so 11, times 5 = 55 dmg in one hit. In NWN1 I was hitting 100s at lvl 15 hehe.
