Default PC Build Component Check (i'm tired)

Someone do me a favor and make sure I am not missing anything crucial and that everything here is compatable. I haven't slept since 28 hours ago thanks to work school and friends....

Oh and there is a possible prize for helping. And it's really delicious and gooey and yummy.

    Didn't see the celeron E3300 here http://www.foxconnsupport.com/barebo...s=en-us0000001

The burner needs to be SATA and the wireless needs to be PCI Express x 1

e3300 is socket, and so is the mobo in that kit.
I am building an htpc with that mobo/case/psu kit and that same processor.

It comes with two sata cables, so you probably wont need that extra one.

At that budget level, you're going to get better performance if you go with AMD.

Poor guy. You should inform him that you don't count as a hardcore fan if you're buying budget.

Were he willing to shell out $80 more for a SSD, he'd see a huge performance gain, even with that crappy cpu.

    Sorry for the horrible res.

Edit: Made them links. Pics were to big.
    Edit: specs

Running Ubuntu 10.10 w/ the xmbc -fs front end. Using it as a server while the rest of the family will use it as an htpc. xbmc is pretty awesome.

Originally I had ripped an external drive out of its case and was using it in this machine, but its down right horrible. Way too slow so I just bought this drive. It wasn't included in the original plan, but its something that needed to be done - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822152185

So far running well and running much cooler than I had anticipated.

Yeah I built it already. Got it together and runnning in under 45 minutes and software installed in less than 2 hours. Really fast build. The case was kind of a pain to get together, damn that thing is tight......

Plenty fast machine for the need.

Just one question: why 802.11b/g PCI card when we're already at 802.11n? Those dongles are like 10 euro nowadays? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-063-_-Product
at newegg only $15 and has a regular Realtek chipset (they even supply open-source drivers).
I made a new script, check it out!.

I just bought a cheap Rosewill USB dongle. He wanted an internal card but I couldn't find a pci-e 1x card.
