    Default Suggest Variables Here

In this thread you can suggest variables that should be added to the srl-stats system. Let's hear it!

    Current variables: http://stats.villavu.com/static/vars.txt

    Code:
    Loads
    Mined
    Deathwalks
    Killed
Rested (isn't there something like this in RS?)
There used to be something meaningful here.

Experience is probably one of the more important ones. I don't think Levels are needed, because gaining a level from 9 to 10 isn't much of a feat, but gaining a level from 94 to 95 is way more experience.

    Adamantite*

Also ores should have "ore" after their type. e.g. iron ore, mithril ore, etc.

No point is discussing them, just keep on saying variables you do want. The more we say the more we can choose from.

Erm why can't custom variables per a script be used? Then global ones can be discussed.

Surely you don't want to add all these to global

    Code:
    Air rune
    Mind rune
    Water rune
    Earth rune
    Fire rune
    Body rune
    Cosmic rune
    Chaos rune
    Nature rune
    Law rune
    Death rune
    Blood rune
    Soul rune
    Astral rune
    Randoms found
    Trips made
    EXP gained
    Script Start Ups
    Pouches Filled
Besides, most variables in scripts deviate in meaning from others. Essence and Pure Essence are a perfect example of this, that could refer to "Essence Crafted" or "Essence Mined"

I'd make a more sophisticated system for variables dude . Like you crate classes of items and such like ores and stuff or maybe skills and then add skill-specific variables you know what I'm saying? I can't really think right now but yeah.

In that case they'll have to be renamed. And I don't see why they can't be global? The entire system servers much less of a point if you use local variables.

I've updated the variables to specify Mined or Crafted.
I'll add the variables suggest later, when I'm on the train.

E: Icefire: I'll change the variables for your script later.

How about all the fishing ones?

    Shrimp
    Anchovie
    Sardine
    Herring
    Tuna
    Swordfish
    Lobsters

Are the ones that I need for my script.

As well as XP and levels gained.

I'm confused... so there isn't the option for custom variables? They're all global?

Yup. That's why he's asking, is so he can get EVERYTHING.

imo, the way Wizzup? is doing this will make everything work smoother, and require less lines in a script to setup.

I'm not saying it's the wrong way to do it, I was just making sure I understood.

This list could get very, very long..

Yes, it could get long. I don't really see the problem with it though. It'll be long either way; the difference is that previously everyone could maintain it. I can probably grant a few people access to a ``variable'' panel where they can add and rename variables. I suppose that will make things easier.

How about giving the variables ID numbers, var_1, var_2. and then add the ability to rename variables.

edit: guess that wouldn't work for global stats.

That would be much easier seeing as you are very busy and probably wont be able to update the list every time someone would like it updated.
