I know this thread is over a year old, but hey at least I wasn't the one that gravedug haha. What a great read Ben, don't know how I missed this one. I go back as far as AutoRune, and it's really great to read about all of this and reminisce about the old days.

I had completely forgotten about KYAB and how it split the community up haha good times. Little disappointing to not see anything about iBot/Nexus, it was a great program that got me several 99's.

But does anybody know what ever happened to StarBlaster100 and why he went "crazy"? Last I remember of him was he started scamming everyone...

    Nice read!
I actually remember aryan and moparscape
Although started botting when Quarters (don't know if i spelled right) developped RSBot.
I moved on to better bots like kbot rsbuddy and nexus and some other which I don't remember.
    Happy now I'm here !

cool to read that bots have been around for that long.

But still .. I enjoyed the game more when I was 11 (now 19) and playing rs for real with my buddies killing moss giants & struggling with dragon slayer (one badass quest that was, took me ages (as I did not understand 1 word of English) )

But yeah... Jagex fucked up, they got money on their mind right now imo.

The good old botting times! I also remember the annoucement that KBot had to shutdown that really made me sad. But yes good things come and good things go. But for now lets see how far Color-Botting will come.

I loved reading every bit of that story.
Kind of makes me realize that if you were doing this at age 12 maybe I could try and contribute to the community that I've been oh so very fond of for years

Having clicked on this link due to seeing your new SMART revision, this is a pretty interesting read. Damn you've done a lot and it's kinda funny how 2 and a half years ago you say it's time to quit and here you are even now

A very nice read, Alot of people contributed alot of their spare time. I've also decided to give back to the community and learn to script myself. For personal satisfaction and to help ofcourse. I'll probably never be half as good as most of you guys but i will keep trying to get better and keep the dream alive.
