    Default Problem installing printer driver

Hey, I'm having a little trouble installing the driver for my printer.

When I try to install, it tries installing to c:\drivers\printer. Normally that would be ok but my harddrive is named e: not c:.

Normally programs let you choose where to install things by using the browse button, but an error message pops up saying that the folder is not accessible(obviously there it isn't named c: it is e: ).

The next step would be to change the name of my drive to c:. Simple right? Wrong... When I try changing the drive letter another message pops up saying "The parameter is incorrect."

This is where I'm stuck, I don't know what to do from here and I am hoping that SRL can help me.

    http://techmanct.com/blog/drivers.zip
Try extracting that to E and then run this
    e:\drivers\printer\3600-4600\install\x86\instgui.exe /L:en MediaType=BBS PackageType=CORE

(or have windows install it instead, just point the printer wizard to the inf file in there somewhere)

Heh, I wasn't sure if that was going to work. So why aren't you on C?

To be honest, I'm not sure. I built my own computer and I guess when installing Windows I hit E instead of C.

You probably had more than one hard drive installed when you installed 7.
