    Default Sapphire 5770 Vapor-X Review

Hey guys, I recently just got my new 5770 Sapphire Vapor-X Graphics card, and im very excited as its my first mid/high lvl graphics card.

Its split up into 3 parts and there not very long, but I love this card. Playing GTA IV on max settings getting between 40-55 fps. Its a really nice card. Enjoy

I have a 5750. Only getting ~50 FPS? Your CPU is probably bottlenecking it a bit.

my cpu is only at 75%? Its a quad core amd overclocked to 3.0.

Im sure i can get more with this card, but it seems to be normal for GTA IV. Especially if its rendering very window in the big cities.

Am i suppose to be getting 60-70 fps on this card on this game?

    I know i get 100+ on LFD2, but thats lfd2.

Hmm, yeah LFD2 has pretty bad graphics, but then again, its valve. and runs on source.
Also, im in need of an upgrade. i currently run a nvidia 8800 gtx. LOL. old. how much was your card? (:
thinking about making a trip to fry's electronics.

my card was $132 on Newegg.

The priced just dropped compared to 2 weeks ago which was originally $144.

Just type in 5770 Vapor-X if you want it.

Its very cool in my case.

Highest ive seen it get so far is 46.8 degrees.

    On idle its 34-36 degrees.

    Very COOOL card.

And yes i know LFD2 has bad graphics which is why i said lfd2 gets 100+ frames, because of the fact thats its LFD2. 1 and 2 has always looked the same.

I've got the 5750 too, Harry. Sapphire also? Personally I'm surprised with the performance of the card considering the cost. Admittedly, it's mainly used for WoW, but it keeps my FPS at 60. (other specs: 6GB, Phenom II X4 3.4GHz, 790X chipset)

How effective do you find the cooling in comparison to just a standard fan an HS?
