Maybe limit to only allowing reflection in walking?

Or maybe use reflection but you lose marks for heavy use/breaking if reflection is out dated. So it can be fail safe and also you dont lose to many marks for walking?

This sounds about right. I think you should be allowed a Reflection backup for the sake of keeping the script running, but the script should primarily rely on color for everything that isn't walking.
Long ago, the '90s Nicktoons lived together in harmony. Then, everything changed when the century turned. Only Avatar, the best of the 2000's Nicktoons, could save them. But when the channel needed it most, the show finished. Four years passed and Mike and Bryan created the new Avatar: Legend of Korra. And although the show itself is great, it has a long way to go before it can live up to The Last Airbender. But I believe Korra can save Nickelodeon.

What if our reflection(the information some of us use from the client to create precision) broke and could never be fixed? That's why we need to move away from it. What good is a script that includes walking ONLY if you have reflection? The only way I see using reflection as a legit operation is ONLY if the script fully works without it just as well. And then, what would be the point in creating a reflection side to your script at all? Like I said, taking the easy way out.

We will ALWAYS have COLORS. Reflection IMO will not be around forever.

Reflection is allowed, though there will be a point cap as not to disadvantage people using colour.
I made a new script, check it out!.

How about you REQUIRE both to display that the scripter has lots of knowledge.

Honestly, both shouldn't be required as reflection is wayyyy easier than pure color.

Not for hybrid per-sé, but if you use both you can get more points. (Points for using reflections cheating-like running style, points unbreakable colour runtime).
Oh well, we'll be going live within 24 hours so you can see what I've got then yourself

Obviously not? You're still using reflection?

I have this problem that I often want to script something, but I can never decide what I want to script. So having a pre-set script would be great for me.

It'll be a pre-set script. As soon as Hobbit opens up the forums, the competition can start!

No! Color only! Or 1000 points possible for color but only 750 possible for reflection.

Reflection's maximum is 250 (out of 1200) lower than colour. Also, most reflection scripts are easier than colour so they will score less on creativity and scripting technique.
One isn't necessary rated above the other. Hybrids, however, get best of both worlds.

Best of both worlds, but more time spent(for no added gain). You should just save people time and say color only.
