    Default Uber Runecrafter

I'm not sure if this is the right section but would it be possible to make a runecrafting army with ess miners trading their ess to your runecrafter?

Anything is possible. Yes two Simba's can 'communicate' with each other and have your two/multiple accounts interact in the game. Might be a bit difficult, but it's possible for sure.

The only thing you need to do is make sure at most one client is signed and the rest unsigned.

Would they even need to communicate? Just accept trades from a certain list of people and the miners are programmed to wait if their trade isn't accepted.

Are you talking about doing stuff like the world 16 air crafting or whatever?

    You're being a little unclear.

Two simbas (1 rc'ing, 1 running) will make no difference, 3+ is where you'll make the mass exp. Runners are pointless if you have just one, but if you have 1 crafting and 2 separate runners, you're cutting the time in half, or in essence, doubling your exp.

You could still double the xp using 2 people, just have both of them running from bank and get one guy to craft then trade then go back to bank again with both.

I can imagine but that's why you run multiple simbas. I've got computer resources to spare.

But you can't run two Simbas at the same time without a VM, right?
Every time I've tried in the past. One would always 'fail' and close.
I suppose it could have been because I was trying to open two SMARTs at the same time, also. Idk. I just assumed it was something that had to do with Simba.

Yes. I'm definitely certain you could do this [if/when you run two(+) Simbas], but like YoHoJo said, "Might be a bit difficult, but it's possible for sure."

It's possible. I run four at once

It's not difficult at all, actually. Just make both of the Simba write to a file, and have the other Simba read that file when needed

Or you could use sockets. Then people who can't run many instances of simba on their main computer can still use it.

I THINK that if you install Simba to separate directories for each you can run multiples.

You don't need to do that

You can run multiples if it's in the same directory, lol.

You have to open two simbas then open smart in each simba, but if you want to interact with two chars in the same world atleast one of the smart must be unsigned.

But i'm pretty sure the simbas wouldn't even need to interact. Runecrafter just crafts and accepts trades from a whitelistish thing and ess miners trade with the runecrafter trading their ess and goes back mining. I'm not a script programmer but it seems doable.

Huh? How is that not interacting with each other?

I mean at the program level. The programs don't need to send information between each other.

Yes it's possible. The script can be set up with a constant for each type of player (slave or master) and can be run in 2 separate SMART clients. They would not have to interact within the program, but they obviously would need to interact ingame. It can all be done.

    Awesome

And would be way better if the SIMBA instances communicated with each other, so you'd know exactly where each runner was at any given time (ie. not sit there waiting for a trade, when a runner is stuck.)

Or you could use sockets. Then people who can't run many instances of simba on their main computer can still use it.
    this.
I remember ARGA had a bot<->bot communication system using sockets, for this very reason.

Of course, you could be a FRIGGIN BEAST and use player chat as well.

For safety's sake, you could force people to enter their own array of messages for each player 'state'
