I actually wrote a system like this before. Was actually raw. You could run away procedure with any parameters just by messaging your bot. You could also define keywords, add custom commands, etc.

This is called RC btw. I am not sure if it is still in SRL though...it hasn't been updated for years iirc. However, this is a little hard to do as PS doesn't have true multithreading so..this may be possible with extensions .

This has been done many times before. How short the memory of a community is. But maybe everything was members and up, dont recall. There was a system that communicated one-on-one prerecorded conversations through private, or even public chat. The chats where organized in a SQL database and strings send to the two clients.

Also used was a remote command system allowing bot to chat through a private chat command. I always loved standing next to my bots having a public convo.

Finally there was(is) an ingame multiplayer reset include RC (for Remote Control) through private chat. Master logs in, bots give (through private chat) info on all players, Master manually resets players and signals bots that players are reset, and script goes on and on and on.
