    Default SRL Wiki

How do I go about editing/adding to this Wiki?

I was going to update some stuff, and try and make it more of an active/useable thing, as there's some pretty good stuff on it.

Who uses wiki anyway? I have never needed it. We have IRC, the people on there are the wiki. Also searching the forums is a good option.
There used to be something meaningful here.

That's my point, it's a good way to collate stuff, and I think that some of the stuff from the Wiki should be on the forum!

Or stuff on the forum should be on the wiki etc

I use wiki so much even though there's practically nothing on it. I wouldn't mind adding stuff to it, but when I logged in it said I have no permission.

Yh i think we The wiki should be more editable .. i would love access to move some info from the forums over to it but to be honest i couldnt do it as i believe only members should have the rights for that ... stop spammers .. .

although off topic .. I would LOVE to to get Jr Membership ... I love this place ..

I think the wiki needs to be used and update more often, instead of using forums for every small doubt we have. It would be a good source of documentation and also keep the forums 'clean'

You could also just work on the Simba documentation. The wiki broke with the last vBulletin update. It's still viewable but not editable. I'll have to figure out why it broke at some point, but it's a LOT of ugly PHP code.

when the documentation is finished, would we actually need the wiki?

I suppose it could always be nice, but I think the documentation would be more useful. Personally I think the wiki would still serve some purpose, especially since the documentation won't be finished completely any time soon. If only it would get as much love from members other than me...

Maybe if MML and SRL were done better and were smaller people would. Maybe they'd (read: I'd) work on libMML more too. :3

If you have any questions, ask them. It helps me too, I have no idea what questions pop up when trying to write documentation.

I thought the Simba docs only had functions built into Simba while the SRL wiki had information on the external library?

I used the wiki a lot when I started out, I remember it had a lot of typos and was outdated. I think the docs and the wiki should continue to be separate, and the wiki updated.

SRL5 will use the new headers which allow it to have a doc created.

Like what functions? Every function doesn't get it's own page. If you search for "findcolorstolerance" it will have Colour Finding as the first result, which is where FindColorsTolerance info is.

For SRL functions use the link dgby posted, for simba functions use docs.wizzup.org/simba
