    Default Database question

    Hi,
I've got to make an exam about database systems tomorrow, and i'm practicing with an old exam now.
But i'm not sure about this question that i have to answer true or false:
The attributes of a candidate key always form a proper subset of a Superkey.

So i was wondering of someone here can say if this statement is true or false

p.s. I'm not sure if i translated it right but i think so
This week is exam week, after that I'll start making my first script

I've been away for a while, reading about the updates i've missed now

What is it in Dutch? I'm assuming you're dutch.

    In dutch:
De attributen van een candidate key vormen altijd een strikte deelverzameling van een superkey.

Yeah, sorry. Villavu forced me to change my password and I didn't have time to do so yet, so I didn't look at this thread again.

If you still want an answer for this, it would be a good question for one of the StackExchange sites - you could try the DBA site
