    Default Tank design

    So I am in the process of creating a tank, not the kind with treads that goes boom, but rather the kind that takes a lot of damage. So far I have autoed about 4M defense XP and I will soon be hitting 99 in the skill. However I have been hearing that your magic level will also effect the success rate of defending against magic attacks. Has any one heard of this theory or does anyone have any information on the subject?

    it does, your defence level doesn't affect magic damage

    which is why a lot of tanks use mage to attack. they have to raise it for def anyway, might as well attack with it and not raise range or melee stats

    Just alch it, MSI's alcher works good.

    Also, DO QUESTS. Get barrows gloves, do dt, get a hand cannon, etc.

    If I remember right, magic defense is 70% magic level and 30% defense level.
    Long ago, the '90s Nicktoons lived together in harmony. Then, everything changed when the century turned. Only Avatar, the best of the 2000's Nicktoons, could save them. But when the channel needed it most, the show finished. Four years passed and Mike and Bryan created the new Avatar: Legend of Korra. And although the show itself is great, it has a long way to go before it can live up to The Last Airbender. But I believe Korra can save Nickelodeon.

    Go for 99 Defence/Magic/Ranged/HP and 95 prayer! That would be so fun to pk on!

    Turmoil would be useless on a tank since you don't use melee. 92 prayer for Soul Split would be a better build.

    Turmoil increases your defense by 15% of your level and 15% of your enemies level. That's an extra 15 to 30 defense levels you have on you.

    I think you mean 74 prayer for Rigour, +20% range, +25% defence. Would be far more useful than Soul Split + Turm.
