    Default F2p Yew Cutting?

So there are obviously tons of F2P woodcutters all over runescape, got a few questions.

    1) Where is the 'best' place to cut yews (fastest?).

    2) Anyone here have experience with botting yew cutting, what's the ban rate, what kind of accounts do you use/have you been safe with? I plan of botting my army at yew trees, they all are level 50+ and have neat things to wear to make them seem less like botters. But I've heard getting banend at yews is sort of common, is this for everyone, or just the obvious botters?

    Thanks.

Not really to sure which place is best as most places wilth yews have like 5-10 bots there but the shortest with quite a few trees is to the east of the G.E.
The 2 in edge just south of the bank is also quite close but with just 2 trees and about 4-7 people there most of the time I don't think its all that gooda place.
Any other yews are either very far from a bank or the yews are spaced apart quite a way from each other, Fally 3 yew along the south wall seems to be quite crowded most of the time.
The yews in rimmington near the home portal has a decent amount of yew trees but far away from a bank.

Personally I would stick to G.E or if like you say your using an army, set up a couple of chars on each lot of yews and see which has the best xp/logs per hour.

Not sure about the ban situation as i haven't had any of my chars banned since 2007 but i think ban is all about how good the script is and not where your doing anything ?

Hope i have helped a little Whacko

I F2P botted at the GE Yews for a while (account is 99 WC now, but that was with Willows as well). The account never got a ban/warning, even after chopping 130k Willows. I can't remember the xp/hour, but I think it was less than Willows. The gp/hour was around 70k iirc, which I probably don't.

Rimmington Yews, banking at Port Sarim. There's 4 trees, but always quite a few people. There's been less people there lately, maybe bans? I'm not sure. I used MSI there and all my bots got 60 to 75-80 Woodcutting from it and none are banned. As long as there aren't a hundred people there, it's decent.

Well I would suggest the yews around the back of lumbridge because more spread out and I would probably use level 20 and below so that if you do get banned it wont be to bad.

@above: if you use a lv20- the chance of getting banned is wayyy larger, so it's better just to level to lv50 or so. Can be done in a few days.
I made a new script, check it out!.

I have two accounts I've been running on yews since lvl 50's. One is now 90 and the other 88, both with quite low cb, never even a warning. Just don't be stupid with it of course.

I tested a month or two ago and edgeville yews were faster than GE, but things may have changed since then.

One of the best scripts ever IMO was Zephyr's Draynor Yew Gatherer.
    http://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=44617

It would run around to the four yews between Lumby and Draynor and chop there. I got my whole army to 85 wc using that back in the day.

I have been botting for quite a while with https://github.com/HarryS/SimbaScrip...erCutter.simba and I haven't been banned yet. This script works just fine without much work.

I remember cutting yews in rimmington with hy####(harry?) & summ-s yew cutter. It was a pay script. Well worth it! Would never get lost.

Rimmington is definitely the best spot.

As far as leveling goes, IMO it is a waste of time to level combat if you're going to only be cutting yew. Bans are mpst;y based on player reports now- That being said, if you bot smart (not 24-7) you should not be banned.

And player reports are mostly based on weather or not they think the character is a bot, and most of the time if they see a level 3 cutting yew they report, rather than a level 50 cutting yews.

Depends on what you need a spot for, for your main, to train it's WC and money, then become members and cut there. But, if your going to use it for your army, I don't think the place matters, when people come and see they are being or going to be molested by atleast 5+ players, then theres a good chance they might leave, IDK, just my thoughts.

no, back a couple years ago people believed that if a 126 didn't respond, he was just a uptight unsocial person. The general population of runescape knows any level will bot now, so raising combat is pointless. It'd be better to just pick a skiller username, and try to sell yourself as a level 3 skiller than train combat.

People aren't stupid anymore and realize that more then lvl 3s are bots. Waste your time getting combat to make you feel safer if you must.

Heh I remember that though I never wrote any of it, it was Summilion and Lorax's, I just helped sell it/give users assistance with it.

Yews are pretty overbotted, though I think my PSWC does them pretty well. You aren't going to find anywhere F2P that's very quick anymore.

Sorry for the grave-dig, but I am running one here and noticed that it's completely empty. Am I lucky? Or has this been a designated hot spot and everybody got mass banned?

If you're f2p, they probably got banned. If you're p2p, it's cause there are much better money makers for p2p and no one bots there.

A lot of usually packed spots have been empty lately, also f2p worlds are around 200 each, so maybe everywhere is just emptier. No idea if it's a mass ban or just caution though.
