    Default [color]What technique?

    Solved, thank you all

I'm working on my biggest script ever, and I'm almost done with the color functions. Just one thing left. Retaining Jennicas ring on death. If death, you will spawn in edgeville, from there on I've got several methods to walk to the stones with the ring on it.

That's not the problem, but the last step is a bit hard... it only works if you stand south of the rock. But there are to much quest symbols hovering everything, disabling my dtms and bitmaps.. See this picture:

Anyone got an idea for a method I could try?

It needs to be color, this script is able to run without smart.

You could try to use dtm, while compass is north.

Ok well... I might be completely misinterpreting what you're asking for here, but what if you made a bitmap of where those 2 quest icons collide (I assume that's where you want to be standing?) and when you're near your destination search your mini-map for that bitmap and click on it.

Or am I way off from what you're asking?

Quest symbols move all the time, I need to be exactly between those two lines... The quest symbols are kind of the problem.

And my dtms get screwed up if a quest symbol decides to float between it and one of the dtms points.

Does anyone know if trees also move on the mm?

    Would you consider using SPS?
    That would probably work.

If SPS is can get me between those lines, that would be great. Never used it, how exact is it?

Never mind :P Probably was a runescape thingy, I've tried it again, it was just an odd situation were coming from the east would give "Nothing interesting is found". Now my positioning isn't an issue anymore, the problem is solved. I got it working, but probably going to use some SPS anyway. Seems really reliable.

It should be able to but its accuracy depends a little on location. Give it a go though, might work well.

I would give the advice of turing the angle down (SetAngle(False); and then search for the sign on the Main Screen. Seems like the only static object -with a good findable TPA- around

You could search for the road color on the minimap to the west, sort the tpa to find the most northern and closest point below MMCY + 20 ish so it doesn't pick up the road on the other side of the wall. Then just figure out how many pixels away that rock is and click accordingly.

Or you could just find it on the MS and click.

I advise SPS. It is pretty large (lots of bitmaps) but imo is nearly as accurate as reflection (it works with a tile system aswell iirc).

It's more of a 'Tool' than a Technique, though.
