    Default Annoying

This has been going on for a while now but I seem to not be able to open programs randomly. I run Windows 7 64 bit and sometimes it doesn't open games and other times it doesn't open Firefox but it seems to always be able to open windows programs and other things like that. I have tried doing a System Restore and it helps at first then the problem persists again. I have tried to uninstall programs that look sketchy in my control panel but I seem to have the problem again a couple days later. Also what seems to not work is shutting my computer down either, it just sits and the "Logging Off" sequence. Its really starting to get annoying.

Reformat? Messing with a corrupt system takes more time then simply reinstalling.

I'm with harry on this one. First thing I do when I get a hint of something messsing up my system is reformat. Playing with corrupted data can only get you more corrupted Data. I regularly reformat my computer and move all my data to my server at least every 6 months or so.

OMG YES, I found it. I ran the EXE Registration Entries that I got from Microsoft and it fixed it.
