Processor: AMD Phenom II X4 955 @3.20ghz OCd to 3.52ghz
    Mobo: ASRock 770 Extreme3
    RAM: 12gb 1600hz (9-9-9-24)
GPU: 1gb ATI Radeon HD 5670
    Hard Drives:
    - 120gb OCZ-VERTEX3 SSD (550/500 r/w)
    - 500gb Samsung 5400rpm HD (50/60 r/w?)

I have a pretty beast computer. It'll be even more beast when I upgrade my CPU, GPU, Mobo, and maybe RAM (to quad chan).

Don't know the info, but the 1 grand my brother used on his computer were well worth it. Very nice, and holds many games.

You mind if I host that on my website and link it back to this post? Just in case some people don't feel like downloading?

Save your money. Don't upgrade anything just yet. Well ram and GPU you can, just not CPU or Mobo. Wait for the APUs from AMD to mature a little. Maybe get a hex-core, or six-core as they are sometimes called..Whatever..

EDIT: @Huthaifah download speccy on it and then publish the specs from the file menu, post URL here.

I plan to wait and buy an 8-core APU/CPU.

The SATA SSDs may not be as fast as the PCI-E SSDs, they are still noticeably faster than an HHD. The difference was huge when I first got my SSD. But anyways... on newegg.ca, you can get a 160gb 740/690 r/w for $450... that has an even better price to performance ratio than my SSD.

I can't wait for that day either because it will mean traditional hard drives will be dirt cheap. That's an exciting thought lol.

Using Speccy (assuming you're on Windows) it goes like this:
    1. Download and Install Speccy
    2. Run Speccy from wherever you installed it
    3. Wait for it to analyze your computer
    4. In Speccy go to File->Publish Snapshot
    5. Post URL given here.

So that's basically it, not too hard if you know where the option is.

How do I run it, and analyze?

Well assuming your running Windows 7, and that you installed it after you downloaded it.

Go to Start menu -> All programs ->Speccy -> Speccy (open that one)

It will analyze automatically, and when the list of your hardware is fully populated, you can then follow my first instructions.

Check your bios to see if there is an option like smart fan. I'm not that familiar with Intel boards so i don't know what it's called on there. Anyway, look for an option like that and then if it's off turn it on. Then set the temperatures that you want the fan to be on/off and increase speed, then max speed. It's pretty easy on my ASUS Motherboard.

EDIT: @ Mr. Doctor, that's really not a bad computer for WinXp. I remember my old computer had Windows Xp SP2 running on 256MB of RAM and a 1.6Ghz single core.

Wow that seems pretty pricy for that build, did you make it long ago when those parts were more price back then? I've also heard hardware tends to cost a bit more in some countries. Nice modular! Those really help in non full tower cases! Hmm maybe the modular and two extra HDDs also made the price a bit more.
