Default MSI doesn't know my skill level

When i go to use msi i set it to powerfishing then i go to use it but it doesn't know my skill level

    eg...

    Code:
    [0:01:33]: [RUNESCAPE] ------ Fishing level (0) not met for FISHSPOT_NET (1)
    [0:01:33]: [RUNESCAPE] ------ Fishing level (0) not met for FISHSPOT_NET (1)
but im level 16 at fishing ive checked all my setting multiple times

    EDIT:Mining also

    Code:
    [0:06:28]: [RUNESCAPE] ------ Mining level (0) not met for ROCK_COPPER (1)

I thought Reflection wasn't supposed to work if the hooks weren't updated?

They could have been up to date with the client, just some were broken.

LSW path doesn't work on SPS well if at all since Lumby Swamp colour is different from what SPS had on it's own worldmap. It's badly outdated.

    As for the GATHERMINIMAP
What's your operating system? I solved same problem on Vista by running simba in administrator mode by right-clicking simba.exe and choosing from there.

Run Simba as an administrator. I forget who it was, but they said once they did that, that error never happened for them again. Also, I'm not sure how well SPS will work at LSW because SPS still uses an outdated world map. Now that I have the script that splits the map into sections, I can update the SPS images, it's just a matter of getting the time to do so. Hopefully I can later this week.

In the meantime, SPS may or may not work for LSW, I'm not entirely sure.

E: Ninja'd. For Win7 you can also Right Click > Run as Administrator.

I personally tested LSW couple days ago. It walked until it came next to that swamp (it's much darker) and started walking between two points, other point wasn't anywhere on the correct path, it never entered that swamp area, but it entered to an infinite loop(atleast I think, never ran enough to see if it was really an infinite loop).

E: And it was me who did it

Okay yeah. I'll create the new map pieces as soon as I can. This also affects the Crafting Guild Miner that was just added, so hopefully I have time soon.

I looked over the MapMaker and after serious frustration was had with trying to get it to work think I finally got it down.

I'm not sure if this works as I've not tested it.
This is only the images and a PNG version of the worldmap. The Original BMP of the worldmap was 47.1mb

I also attached the MapMaker script for future use.

Nice, Geo! That helps a lot; although I think the current SPS images are .png as it basically cut the sizes in half, how hard is it to convert?

Yea, I uploaded the .BMP files at first then converted them in Photoshop the mediafire link above should contain the .PNG files.

I'm sorry to say this Geo but, it won't work. First of all the worldmap that you used isn't accurate enough, reason why original bmp was so huge, was because it looked like it was being watched through a minimap. When you zoom the original bitmap it's always sharp, no matter how you zoom it.

Sumilion's pathmaker and SPS has almost identical worldmaps, but they have one thing in common. They look like someone has gathered them from the minimap. When you compare it to the worldmap you used(I would've too ) you notice that there's something wrong.

E: On the other hand it might work but the accuracy might be way off.

On the worldmap that you used when you zoom it, sharpness of the picture vanishes and eventually it's just blur. It really doesn't look like it's the large version of the minimap, it's just too blocky if you compare it to original bitmap.

I figured that would happen. I pulled it off the Runescape KBase downloads. I could possibly make a worldmap from ingame. I'll see what I can do. Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated.

EDIT: Just checked the worldmap ingame and it would take a while to gather all the pieces for the worldmap. Also, there's the problem of the "You are here" marker which would need to cropped out.

If only we could get in touch with marpis easily to see where he got the image from.

Yeah, that would be the best choice.

As SPS checks if minimap's image is found in one of the areas that it created (x_y), it has to be almost identical. Some color diffrences can exist but it can be cured by tolerance.

E: Or atleast I think it works that way

Yeah I asked in the other thread if only some of the hooks get updated, rather than all at once. I'll just have to update MSI to check for only the hooks that we use.

@SPS: Geo, I looked at the images and they aren't zoomed enough. Like Smidge said, the in game MM is compared to the images so there can't be writing either. I'll have to look on the SPS thread to see if marpis mentions where he got he map from.

I wonder if anyone has him added on MSN/Facebook.

EDIT: Just saw your reply above. If you can find that worldmap then the mapmaker will work. So, time to get hunting. :P

You can take out the you are here marker by pressing the question mark icon and click 'you are here'...

Yeah, but the in game map includes the words and everything, the SPS tiles don't include words.

Also, my apologies, Geo, your tiles are okay with respect to the zoom (I think), the current SPS ones are also zoomed out.

E: I haven't been able to find anything, so I've PM'd marpis. Hopefully he'll get back to be asap.

Yes, Geo did everything right. But, there's still a huge difference between worldmap and ingame map, if you compare them together. So it's ingame map that we are looking for.

    @Coh3n
You can disable the text and such, by pressing the question mark in ingame worldmap

Oh I didn't realize it disable text as well. Nice.

It's hard to believe marpis would manually create a giant map from in game. I thought maybe the MapMaker.simba had a player logged in and went through the different sections, taking screenshots, but it appears that's not the case.

Still waiting for a reply from marpis.
