    Default Complete hard-drive format?

    I wanna format my whole hard-drive and then boot up and install ubuntu, any help?

    Use cd or usb boot to format. I believe Ubuntu has format software on it.
    (Scripts outdated until I update for new SRL changes)

    yeah just go to ubuntu.com (pretty sure) and download the installation and burn to disc. With disc in drive, restart PC, select boot options on start up. Then boot from disk. That will load the LiveCD of Ubuntu. It's pretty self explanatory from there.

    Ubutu OS CDs let you do that if you want to. They have a built in partitioner that runs during setup in which you can do that.

    Yep, GParted does the job. You can format & partition.
