    Smile Looking for a new Laptop (Without OS)

    Hello I'm looking for a decent laptop. I don't wan't OS in it ready installed (Saves money :P)

    15.4 "
    Some decent Video card would be great too. Give me sites and so on. I live in Finland. Can be any kind of price range (No Macs) and nothing like 4000 USD :P

    Macbook Pro<--Decent laptop. Ship it from US for cheaper price. And yeah I saw your thing about macs.

    Hm, as long as you have a laptop with an AMD or NVIDIA video card you probably don't have to worry about performance on Linux.

    depending on how powerful a laptop you're looking for, check out one with an amd apu in it. A family member bought one recently and it seems to run pretty decently.

    well i recently got an msi i7 gtx560 15,6" lappy and it runs like a baws. kinda on the expensive side perhaps; about 1200 eur

    In the US at least, you can call the OEM that sold the laptop to you for a refund on your Windows install, IF you inform them you've deleted all of it and installed Linux instead.
