Hi there! I don't really know anything about scripting and I doubt I will ever find the motivation to learn, but I don't want to just be a proggy-posting leecher so I was thinking of other ways to contribute to the community.
I currently study funding and national economics in university and I was raised up in an environment where economics was a common subject for dinner talk (I'm a fourth generation banker in the making) so I thought I'd make a guide about something I know fairly well. Although RS trading has more or less nothing to do with the real thing, I'm pretty fascinated by RS economy and have gotten experienced with it (Trading in RS is actually the only reason I play the game).
I thought I'd make a poll about whether people think they would be interested in such a guide and what things they would like to see in it. If you're not interested please vote "no thanks" since I don't want to waste my time, no hard feelings. At the moment I have a project with agility 99, so I would start writing this guide after I have achieved that goal. Could be a month or two, this is just to find out if I should waste any thought for it.
What the guide would include: (I'm willing to add something else as well if requested)
- Explaining How RS Economy Works
- How to find margins
- What kind of items to look for
- Pictures
- Flipping with 10M - 4B+

So yeah, that's about it... But seriously, if you don't think the community needs another GE trading guide (I know there are like a million out there), let me know so I don't waste days writing it. Although I am pretty excited about it to be honest. :P
