Just a quick Q. are macs also compatable with SCAR and SRL?

From what I've heard, SCAR is completely incompatible with anything but Windows. There are rumors of a Mac version of SCAR, but it could be months if anything were to happen

cant you run vista on the new macs and then you can open all the .exe files you want although i don't have a mac so i don't know how hard it will be to do but anything is possible if you try hard enough

Depends on how deep the emulator goes, but yea that's your best shot.

Yea like Boreas said, it depends how much it actually emulates. For example, WINE for Linux makes SCAR work... to an extent. It can move the mouse and stuff, but it can't target windows.

Scar on linux CAN target windows, but only other wine windows:
Example: With scar you can target a Wine Internet Explorer (I know it sucks) window, or anything inside, but not some kind of native Linux window. The only problem of scar on Linux is that java doesn't work well.
If somebody could link a windows application to the Linux java, I think scar on linux/intel-mac works.
If you have an intel-mac, you can use bootcamp.
I made a new script, check it out!.

Another way would be specifically making scripts for macs. You have to make all you mouse procedures false and make them click the option but would that be doable?

even if you got scar to work on a mac, the scripts would probably not function correctly.

Im thinking about getting a laptop and running Linux on it. Will scripting still be bearable or is it not worth it?
Is anyone SCAR scripting on linux?

Scripting is limited possible. You can't use coordinates in your script and anything else dependend of the crosshair.
However, you can create scripts with colors, radialroadwalk, dtms etc.
I made a new script, check it out!.
