Default Program to Map Gamepad/Controllers to Keyboard?

I got a N64 to USB adapter for my computer.
I want to make the N64 controller keys to keyboard/mouse so I can ghetto-rig them to play games.
    Program to do this?

I don't think I fully understand, but there are N64 emulators you can download for your computer, and through those you can assign specific keyboard keys to match the N64's controller. If you have an android phone you can also put an emulator on your phone.

    Current projects:
[ AeroGuardians (GotR minigame), Motherlode Miner, Blast furnace ]

The adapter you bought should have come with drivers. Unless it's plug-n-play.

I saw that earlier 1) I think it's the opposite of what I want (maps keyboard to gmapad) and 2) it costs money!

Like Flight said, any N64 emulator will have options to set keyboard controls.

No, this is what I used to map my Guitar hero controller years ago to work with the pc version of GH3. The price tag is something that has happened since then. So I google for an alternative and found GlovePie. Might want to check this one out, its free.
