Default Would you work for jagex?

If jagex has offered you a 50k Euro salary to work for them to find ways to stop botting and then followed by customer support (i.e banning botters), would you go? assuming job will be available when your finished with high school/uni.

That would be a very interesting and difficult choice to make. It would probably open the door to future positions at Jagex, and that would be a unique job. On the other hand, any job associated with programming is notorious for being stressful.

Eh, probably yes. Since stopping color botting is impossible without upgrading graphics, which brings up another issue all together (the fact they aren't trying to require better computers to play their game, i could go on about this). I am against reflection/injection bots, although it's EXTREMELY hypocritical of me to say this because i used both. They make it so easy, and so accessible, that it puts REAL players at a disadvantage. Real players can make way more per hour than any color bot, and i think it will/should stay that way.

Reflection/injection also allowed anyone to become a gold farmer without about 6-7 hours of preparation which is completely ridic in my opinion.

    "Blackhat" lol..

I'd work for Jagex, maybe. I don't like how they've been threatening people with lawsuits and what not, though.

I'd work for Jagex but not for stopping bots. I'd rather work in development.

Heck id work for em... And of coarse bug u guys about it. If i was a "bot-stopper" then id probably take my ideas on how to stop bots from you guys anyways...

Edit: I chose the top two choices cause i still can I technically dont have to betray you guys.

I would not work for them. Even if the salary is good for someone just getting out if university, I don't see myself creating a career in programming or game development.

Money is cool, but in the long run you want to work with something you are interested and motivated in.

I'd work for them to infiltrate their company and give info here.. I have no need for their silly money

I'd work for them and try to get into their development team. Then, open loop holes and leak them here

TBH, I had thought about working for them when I was a kid lol, and I think 70k a year is pretty good for living.

We should pay closer attention to mr jacmob, lets hop jagex won't arrest him later...
