    Default Hello to the community

Just signed up, I'd like to introduce myself.

Basically I was very active in the powerbot/rsbot community, then came the nuke. RSBot is broken, and I'm guessing Runescape will have much more frequent updates. I was looking around for some color bots, and I found this forum. I'm surprised I haven't seen or heard of it before. Looking at some of the code I don't really recognize how it's formed. I only know java and python well. I made some pretty good java scripts and actually committed to the rsbot source, but I'm not sure how well that applies.

Expect me to make some scripts, and hopefully I'll get involved with SRL itself. So far the scripts I've ran are quite impressive. It seems I greatly underestimated color bots.

Will anything come for linux soon? I'm a big fan.

    Welcome

Making colour scripts are completely different from reflection/injection scripts

also we dont use java, we use pascal (its more pesudo-like)

but once you understand how the scripts are formed and how to use the functions, you can (as you have already found out) make some pretty good scripts. Alos you can make scripts where it doesnt need to be updated every update, so when a update comes around, reload and continue to bot, no need to wait for an update

oh, and if you get stuck, dont be afraid to ask

    We LOVE active contributers.

Keep learning and we are always willing to help those who try!

If you are interested in Linux and Simba, you will have to wait a bit. Currently, all of the bot itself works on Linux (natively), but the interpreter is poopy.

You can easily run Simba/SMART in WINE, though. It doesn't work as nicely, but will get the job done.
