Default How do I run multiple bots

Do I have to open up multiple instances of simba? or is there some way to open up multiple SMARTS? and have only 1 instance of simba running lets say 5 bots.

I am using an autosmelter to make cannonballs, and it has the option to add multiple accounts, I just can't figure out how to do it.

    Can anyone help me out?

You need to open Multiple Simbas in order to run multiple bots.
You can make simba Minimize to tray by clicking an icon that looks like a 'J' on simba toolbar to save space.

There is also some program some guy made called 'Smart Organizer' that allows you to have multiple tabbed SMARTs in just one window.

I also use a program called VirtualWin:
    http://virtuawin.sourceforge.net/
Which lets you have 'multiple desktops' and keep all Simba/SMARTs on one desktop, and do all of my normal stuff on a clean desktop that way there is no clutter and I can just press a hotkey to switch desktops to check on them really quick.

How many bots are you able to run at once? I am running 2 and they are using just 35% of my processing speed/

Yeah this is true for many people actually :/ unfortunately Simba works different than the java bots many of you new guys are used to and takes up more resources and stuff.

What model processor do you, how many cores/ghz?

Make sure RS is all low settings, and you can even change the CPU amount used in the runescape settings.

I have a quad core amd phenon II, I turned the cpu usage down and I got the 2 bots to only use like 20% processing.....that makes me think I could do 10.

One issue tho, is that my second bot logged out, and then tried to log on as the account that was already logged in (1st bot). Is there an ideal way to manage multiple bots?

In each script you run, only enter account details for ONE account.

If you enter multiple account info into scripts, that means that every X minutes or X loads the script will cycle through the accounts.

If you only put one account in each script, it will stay only on that account.

hmm, if it is set up to cycle through, will it automatically log into the next account when the first account errors?

As long as the script is set up correctly, yes.

    The way I do it:

Since I run the same script for most of my bots I just copy the scipt, name it after the guy who its meant to train and edit the file with all the nessecary information.

So now I have a bunch of script copies in one of my folders on desktop. I just open them all up on different Simbas and click play. Thats all I have to worry about.

I am not a script wiz but another thing I will probably do in the future is to assign them all into different worlds.

Hiding all the windows to tray is good. Smart Organizer is good too.
