[C]Simple Thieves' guild pickpocket'er

[Flight]

This script was made in just one hour. I had set a challenge for myself, just for laughs, and this is the outcome. There's no SRL Stats, just a simple Volunteer pickpocket'er.

I was deciding if I should even release this or not, as I doubt many people will use it. But there's no use in letting sit and collect dust in my unreleased folder.

You must have completed the Buyers and Cellars quest as well as completed the From Tiny Acorns side-quest.


[NOTE]: MouseHandler.simba is also required for this script. To install it simply download the attached file from this post and place it in "C:/Simba/Includes/SRL/srl/misc/"

Any idea what the xp/h is for this part of the guild? I am looking to finish off 99 Thieving so this could help me^^. Will definitely test this tomorrow.

He wasn't sure when I asked, he said it's hard to tell if you were secesfull or not when thriving. I think he guessed 40-45k xp/hr ish, which isn't to bad I'd say.

its actually the fastest thieving xp in game, based on http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Pickpocket_trainer. unfortunately the script didnt work for me

For all those new scripters, change it to Cosh instead! (Try to figure it out on your own, it isn't too hard but is a great way to start scripting)

Coshing gives you 135k xp/h!

means u want make the script lure and bash the cosher volunteer, triple pickpocket, then repeat? that would be extremely hard and i doubt the script is fast enough to do triple pickpocket?

Triple pickpocket is 185k xp/h, double is easily achievable. Just remove the timer that prevents it from quick pocketing

can u try to do 1 then? if u can make coshing it'd be completely diff from this script

It's horribly slow, and it messes up by clicking Lure on the other dudes =/

yeah its like 180k xp per hour,also the best xp is monkey knives, its like 200k xp per hour, i was going to mae opne script but im learning the basics right now

You don't need to be that rude! If it's slow, then don't use it. Simply solution.
If you can do better, than do it

People have asked me about the red salamander script and I'm simply not going to work any further on it. Much like this script it was an experiment using similar methods mixed with some of Livid Farmer. It's not worth going any further because of the issue of finding ropes on the ground; they chance radically change color every time they're dropped.

Edit: if a person to pickpocket is not on screen then it laggs me out (i.e. logs off), but as you said it was a rushed challenge so is a good attempt and works minus this pratical issue

darkcoder has the solution. script did not DeclarePlayers in the main loop, probably the "made in just one hour" caused this negligence
