It depends on what specifically you're trying to do with hunter. Traps would be hard, but it's possible.

Something like a bird hunter, chinchompa hunter, or maybe even falconry, falconry seems easier, although i wouldn't really know.

Falconry would be very easy, chinchompa hunter would be hard for any "Level" of scripter and a bird hunter, probably the same as chinchompa hunter. But I'm unsure.

I would think bird hunting would be easier than chin hunting because of less competition.

The hardest part of the chin hunting would be figuring out when and how a human would be messing with the bot, since it would happen. Also, detecting your own box-traps now without reflection would be a little harder, unless you stored the location as a variable, but even with that it would still be tricky.

I was thinking SPS could be used to store the location of a trap as you set it when you detect the trap laying animation.

True, but then you would run the risk of SPS fudging the location a bit since it's not accurate. Perhaps in SPS 2.0 we might be able to do this better.

Yeah, SPS 2.0 would be able to handle it much better. Faster, too. I might attempt it when it comes out.

I think there is a possibility of having a salamander hunting script, however.

There is a distinct difference between set traps, sprung traps, and trees without traps
Also, not as many people use those, so it would be less risky.

I think it'd be members only though if it had banking, due to the fact that it's easily 200k+? an hour gold if you bank the salamanders.

Love you. How's vaycay? Yes, hunting scripts are entirely possible.

I made a red salamander hunter. So it's obviously possible... A Chinchompa hunter would consist of finding all the boxes on the ground that have sprung. Break these into T2DArrays and get the pixel shift of each box, if it's a high number chances are you caught a chinchompa, if not, then it's a failed trap.

    Current projects:
[ AeroGuardians (GotR minigame), Motherlode Miner, Blast furnace ]
