This has been requested before. It is in progress, but it will most likely be Members+ only.

One in production I believe, and I doubt it will be publicly released.

See this is a script that would really bring a lot of attention to this forum if it were to be released publicly. Yes there are a lot of people coming here now, but from browsing other cheating communities you can visibly see talented scripters saying they would rather wait for a better platform to script for. Yeah its great to try and motivate a few to script to get access to the members section, but with other communities treating this one like a joke based on how unreliable all the scripts they can use are, why would anyone bother trying to write something better?

I really do not see how releasing that to the public would have any useful impact, were it to be created.

Look at the pest control script, I did not see a single person say "Hey, I came to SRL because you had that one script, so i'm going to make scripts for you now". I saw more like, "OMGZX wai dis bo no wurk 4 me? U so dumb u cant make no bots".

We are known. If a person deemed Pascal "not worthy" for their "talents" then the only one harmed by that is the person who refused a new challenge. I really do not see how 1 script can change their minds.

Well.. I honestly don't see any better communities atm.. no better choices.. either you bot or you don't? Those scripters that think they are too high and mighty to script better scripts here are just going to have to wait till their reflection comes back. If they really want a challenge and are so talented, they'd try scripting for a colour bot and then see..

In all honesty, a soulwars bot isn't going to be as easy as 123.. It's pretty easy yes but not as you guys think. It all depends on what you guys want in it.. or what you want it to do..

If I were to do this, It'd use guthix portal every single time.. Soulwars isn't like CW either.. it has that crap-o-meter that monitors you to make sure you do something.. that means you can't just leech the team or afk, you must attack or constantly die in-order for the meter to stay up.. OR collect souls for the obby. You'd also have to do cape recognition.

You both missed my point entirely, I was not saying that people would come for one really good script or that at this point there is a community with better working software. I am saying that the reason other communities gain popularity and a larger base of scripters was reliability. The vast majority of the public script poster here are of very poor quality and that is very discouraging to all new comer imo. It wouldn't be that people didn't see pascal as a decent language seeing as the scar divi community has scripts that work with more stability than many of the public ones here.

Look at why rsbuddy gained such popularity, everything worked very well, if you wanted to try the free version it still worked.

Here its like you try 4 scripts, 3 of them are currently broken, and the 4th might work for an hour or two. Do you see how that would discourage new users or do you still feel the need to argue a point i'm not trying to make?

No Doubt you are correct, but the clarification for this simple. The Community revolves around learning how to script, not scripting itself. The public script written here are not all written by devs, they are written by general public, therefore calling it a public script.

About RsBuddy and other communities, please understand that they were using reflection, which btw is more reliable and easier to program. Coding a Color bot is like coding what you see with your own eyes.

I am quite familiar with the ease of scripting for reflection or injection based botting platforms, I have been scripting for them since arga was released. Your statement seems to support my original idea though. People are more likely to look for an alternative, or wait for one, than learn to script with a different mind set completely. Especially if from the public sector it seems to that whatever you make will not run as planned.

Mostly because Simba isn't that noob-friendly as rsbuddy/powerbot(rsbot) was, for example at my superheating script, saying things like it doesn't work, its crap, its this and that, but it actually always worked for me. But the great thing is that the script manager will be released soon and a lot will change .

How will the script manager change that? Maybe I'm just confused on what it will be

When we were using Reflection as well, we were BEAST! but you need to understand all Color, is not easy mate, colors constantly change...

Reflection was quite easy, and if it had broke, it would be updated and ready to go the next day or couple of hours, but like I said Color is really challenging and time consuming, just stay in there mate, and yes there are couple of SW scripts in progress.

Script manager is just like rsbuddy and powerbot had it after you've hitted the button "run", it opens a window and shows you the public scripts etc etc... Just like that.

I support creating "super fancy" scripts but I don't support releasing them to the public. In our society here the "least" amount of people we have just looking for bots the better.

Perhaps let them know what is in the Members Section, as some sort of incentive to try but even that shouldn't be necessary. As of today there are no other options (Besides RID which is really expensive and breaks all the time) I know for a fact when other bots emerge I will be staying here regardless.

Also A LOT of the scripts in the public section work perfectly? Shuttle's Vine Vanq works flawlessly and Flight's Fishers (All of them) work flawlessly (Those are the two I have tried.)

Also Nathan, it will make installing/updating/everything simpler

Dont get me wrong im not saying all the scrits here are not good, there are plenty that work well or work amazing with a few minor changes. Its just the sheer number of scripts that don't work that great. I'm obviously not going to leave srl if something new comes out, weequ and p1nky are the only people to post in this thread that have been here longer than I.

That I think is what is needed. People will know they either need to make their own, or they contribute to the community to a certain extent to earn access to it.
