    Default [SRL-RANDOM] Pillory (Pick Lock) ~ Working

    As of March 11th, 2012, the Pillory (Pick Lock) random is working. If, for whatever reason, the solver failed, please post the debug text (found in Simba/Includes/SRL/logs) and if you're willing to let an SRL developer use your account, PM the account details to one of the following developers:

    I got an interesting bug in Pillory. FindNormalRandoms detected the Pillory event as Captain Arnav. I happen to see this and immediately stopped my script and solved Pillory manually.

    However, I just logged in to see my character NOT in a pillory cage and instead has a Random Event gift in the inventory. Did it indeed fail? I was at work and couldn't watch it.

    Hm, it looks like it just didn't detect that it was solved. I'll take a look at that as soon as I can.

    Hmm just watched this happen. It solved the first lock. The second lock was a rombus, but it kept detecting it as a triangle, which was not one of the key choices (it correctly identified the keys).

    Every time I get this random it thinks that it is getting Freaky Forester instead of Pick Lock, so it just continually clicks on the minimap trying to get to the middle of Freaky Forester.

    Yes, this was reported here. I can't fix it until I have an account in Pillory or Forester, or both.

    Today, it recognized what random it was in, chose the first 2 locks fine, but got to the 3rd and picked the wrong shape. I stopped it because I didn't want to fail the random.

    Read about this just now in a different thread, same problem as me.

    Not working, as of May 6th/7th, 2012.

    Justin which cages were you in? There are 2 versions of the random and I was just put into the cages that are in seers village. Were you in the ones in yanille?

    errm... every key works but the diamond one, it chooses a random key if a diamond is the correct key to choose.

    i had to disable SMART and fix it else i would of failed the random event.

    oh and i was at the varrock cages

    yeah mine seemed to pick it up as the freaky forester. just stopped smart and solved it manually cos it was just sitting there for about a minute..

    I have run some tests and found it's because of FF_Detect using count of at least 10 NPC dots as to determine whether it's in that random. Here's a pic showing how it is possible for 10 NPC dots to show in Pillory



    I guess the Forester random detection needs some fixing.
