Default [Live Stream] a scripting tutorial?

Well I really really want to learn more about scripting and such. So I was thinking if somebody would "live stream" some guide and explain more about it? because I really hate reading alot of text.

-So this is how you can stream it, you go to join.me and download the thingy and you will receive a link and post it on the thread .

Ps: Yes, it is 100% safe.
PPs: Well it's not really live streaming it's more like sharing your screen to some peaple with the link.

I'd love for someone to do this too.

YoHoJo has a couple of video tutorials in the Tutorial Island section that should help you get an understanding if you don't like reading the text guides.

Not to hate him or say his guides are bad or anything but it's a little annoying how he makes mistakes in the video and it becomes really confusing for me because I script while watching.

Well, you will always make mistakes during scripting/programming and when you later find out what that mistake was you will remember that later and will not make the same mistake again.

I have not seen his videos and I agree it's not necessary good to have mistakes in a tutorial, but I don't think it hurts either. You can learn a lot from mistakes, if not even more then from not mistakes .

Yohojo is a very talented scripter. I'm sure if he has made mistakes, they won't be very big ones at all. That being said, if you want to be a scripter, you better get used to reading text. When you write a big script, it will be hundreds of lines long and you will need to read through to make sure you haven't made a mistake.

Any video's you watch, you should be watching and listening, then pausing and scripting and experimenting, then unpausing. You will never learn just by copy and pasting code anyway.

Back when SRL just started, i used to teach people to script by basically doing this, on the condition, that you proved that you were willing to learn and work for it. To teach someone one-on-one is a lot of work, it takes time, patience and a lot of effort. So if you can prove to a scripter that you really want to learn, you might have a chance. Otherwise, you're going to find it hard to do, especially if you tell people you don't like big blocks of text.
