    Default Nervous about botting now

Wrll I've decided to start botting again but I'm nervous about the ban rate. How often do you think you get banned for botting? What is the safest way to bot?

you never had a better chance for botting dude, i can tell you that. Now that people know all bots are gone, they actually don't report you even if you act bot-like...

I've never used simba before is why I'm wondering. Do you have any tips? I know a way to get 1000 kills and make like 100m from killing botters.

I never got banned from using scar/simba, apart from one time I suicided for like 2 month. If you casual bot, and use a decently made script, should be no worry, unlike rsbuddy or rsbots.

Its ridiculous how people just think bots are gone, I got bored one day and decided to quickly write a autoclicker for teleing at cammy. Did it for like 7 hours and got bunch of people talked to me (obv I couldn't respond), but when I checked the log, no one said stuff like "reported!" or "bots!"...etc, a lot of people just said "your mean" or "why do people always do this... "

I gained all of this from using Simba alone, with 0 bans, ever. One might call that safe.

    Think about it this way.

Rsbots used reflection (Actually went into the game and used their code)
We don't touch their code, all we use is what YOU can see. Can you see that Tree? Well we can too! but we can't see the tree's id number/neither can you.

The scripts use your mouse (or smart) meaning it looks like you are playing the game. The only way to get banned is by using a bad script!

if your (or someone elses script) acts like the way you play in real life, you probably will never get banned. I have had a few people complain about some of the speeds of my scripts (banking, clicking, ect) being too slow, but I cannot play any faster then I make the bot, so it reflects my playing habits (to a point).

Just make sure you dont bot for hours on end without breaks and use bots that reflect normal playing habbits and you should be fine.
Of all the things I have lost, I miss my mind the most.

I have never been banned. To avoid being ban just bot on one account & don't leave it running 24/7.

As long as you play it safe the chances of you getting banned are drastically reduced. I've been botting for over a year now, and I haven't been banned or punished once.

Have to agree with this, the last time i used scar was ages ago seriously.. around 5-6 years ago and i got banned in less than a week but i suspect scripts have gotten a lot better since.

My main problem with Simba is that you have to be at the computer while it runs, i don't think mine has completed a random successfully even once yet. it's a shame beause it would be a really good bot if it could do them reliably.

Completes quite a few randoms, more than RiD.

On my main I rarely even get randoms, maybe one a day with 12+ hours of botting. It's always safe to babysit though, even if you're confident that everything will work fine. I always make sure to check in on my bots.

Randoms are a bit harder in color but they are being worked on as we speak and they are getting remade/updated. Also bot for how ever long you personally feel comfortable with. Without CRASHSMART you will only be able to bot for about 6 hours straight anyways*

Also recommend switching worlds, as some people like to go bot busting these days. I think moving worlds can reduce a chance of encountering them perhaps? Just my 2 cents.

Don't go overboard as in leaving it run for days at a time if you have a good script. Best thing to do like said above just casually do it. (babysit your bot account)

legit I check my bots pretty often, frequently I have people telling me they have reported me like 5 times already. So I assume I have been reported over 150 times per account.. I have no fear of a ban, in any way shape or form. 24/7 botting for months

That's one thing I have to say about RSbot. You didn't ever have to worry about failing your randoms. If a random was messed up, it was a pretty simple fix to change the script for it. And no, it's not the scripting in RSbot and RSbuddy that makes Simba have less bans, it's the sheer fact that all of those bots are doing the exact same thing because more people use those bots than used Simba due to the simplicity of the bot. The scripts that I created for personal use that I didn't release never got me banned and I would bot them for days on end on my bot accounts.

Never risk what you are not ready to lose. But tbh with Jagex bot nuke I think the ban rate would be much lower.

I haven't even heard of anyone get banned after the bot nuke. I'm sure they're more focused on all these armor updates/whatever else than the minuscule number of people that are actually botting now.

I don't think they find the current amount of botters to be a real threat. As people start realizing the easy method of botting isn't going to be coming back, they will probably move to color bot methods and it will become a big issue again. I know they are looking in to something that will thwart color bots but I simply don't think it's possible without a RS3.

I've never heard of anyone getting banned so far but I'm always cautious, I usually take breaks every 2-3 hours just to be safe but I've seen people go 6+ hours with no break and they seem to be fine.

Still unsafe/nearly impossible to go 6+ hours in botting without taking breaks. Your client's token will expire in 6 hours if your character is logged in for that time consecutively. So, really you cant bot for 6+ hours either way, if you do that's pretty lucky (unless you take breaks and/or use CrashSmart <- for more experienced users)

So that's why I keep having to reload the client all the time when I am training my main... xD.

Really depends on what kind of an account you have. My skillers get harassed and randomly reported even when I'm playing legit and talk to people (same seems to go for many other high-end characters too). Random nooby accounts are fairly safe, unless you're wearing granite plate, d skirt, d med, obby cape or something. Nat crafters and bots training agility are constantly getting reported by every legit player around, so I wouldn't suggest doing that.

RSBot wasn't very good, RSBuddy was decent and nexus had an insanely low banrate at least from my experience. Oh well, nexus will never be coming back now.
