GameTabs (Nooby Question)

I really do not understand what the heck these things do. I see them, when I read scripts all the time. Such as (GameTab(4)) or something like that when people are dropping.

What does it mean?

GameTab(4) means it goes to the inventory tab. Starting from the combat tab (which is 1), you can count to the right for each tab's number. Understand it now?
