Funny thing is: $000,000 is six figures. They obviously didn't release the exact amount for a reason. If it was a lot, then they would have made sure all other bot developers knew how much they could sue them for, as a scare tactic(which we know jagex loves to use).
It mentioned that all the information on people who have have developed scripts for iBot would be passed to Jagex. Will anything happen to them?
"Shortly, all references to iBot and Impulse Software will disappear from the internet"
scary.
Did someone say GDK?
once its on the net its out there forever i think its kinda funny
Yes, I know the RSB Global mods, Admins, and developers. Like Methamphetamine (developer of autoclue scroll pro for rsbots.net which is now shutdown btw) is scared to even touch Pascal coding because of the risk of being sued for 1 mil.

isnt that still 0
They made over 1000000$ tho, leaving them anywhere from 1 to 900000$ profit
Two lifes ruined for nothing
Regardless those 6 figures weren't enough to pay their sadistic employees. They have to raise member prices in order to do so.
i hate to say it but jagex is almost as bad as the american government trying to pass sopa worldwide. its out there its out there. its already in so many peoples hands. what are they gonna do about it? i mean really?
the amount mark and eric had to pay was extremely substantial considering a lien was put on their house (which is very nice).
Impsoft.net just went down as well, even for us developers. So its finally completely over.
this is why you keep everything gnu licenced...
