Default MSVCR71.dll is missing from your computer

    EDIT: Solved

I keep getting this error when trying to run a script.

I have tried the fixes outlined in the FAQ:

    Like: C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\bin\msvcr100.dll

Or to add your Java bin to your PATH.
I already have MS C++ redist x64 installed, and the java path (\bin\msvcr100.dll) exists. I have also tried copying that file to system32 folder as instructed, with no success. I also downloaded the .dll file online and replaced my current one with the newly downloaded file, still nothing.

    What else can I try?

You restarted Simba after moving the dll from your Java bin into system32, right? If not, try that.

EDIT: Turns out I had downloaded MSVCR100.dll not 71. I got confused, it seems to be working now. Thanks you two for trying to help
