Wait, is this the same as the original Scarscape with no changing colors/compass etc etc from 4 years ago?

    Site is down.

    Yes it is, WOW. Nice.

    To SRL users:

BE EXTREMELY CAUTIOUS. This is a modified client, and may get your account banned.

    For those who don't know.

ScarScape was created LONG ago by sythe.

It was a runescape client that had STATIC colors and always PERFECT NORTH compass angle.

Now we have ACA and MUCH better color finding techniques, but it's still pretty neat to always have same color and perfect north compass angle and may be useful to many people.

If we had some way to use this along with SMART that would be awesome too!

This is really unnecessary now days. I personally like my scripts to imitate a legit and this includes rotating the compass. Techniques have progressed to the point where we simply don't need the compass facing north or static colours.

It looks interesting. It may especially be of interest to junior scripters. People who are just starting out. It would be good to have a confirmation on how safe it is to use this program, both wrt to detectability and possible malware.

I don't know about you, but static colors and a perfect compass are so much easier to deal with.

Anyway ill run a few accounts on it for a couple of days and will see how detectable it is.

SimbaScape. Hmm, a new user (only 1 post). Joined this month. Signs off as Anonymous. And posts over at Sythe instead of here?

    /me is suspicious.

Or, it could just be someone who is somewhat high/low up/down here and doesn't want to reveal his true identity in case of a war happening

Kudos to the developer if it is true!

I didn't know colors changed client-side. I just like the idea of static colors, who cares about the perfect north?

I think perfect north is nice for SPS, no?

No doubt, but clicking north sets it pretty close in game, which has always been enough for SPS to run on. I'm sure having the camera always at perfect north would help, but I don't see that as being much at all.

Also, I believe a lot of scripts will eventually shift camera angles, atleast for antibans and what not. Call that antiban (or whatever) just one time and it pretty much defeats the purpose of 'perfect north'.

Not really, because it's extremely easier to set it to perfect north again compared to Jagex' client (Or at-least that was the case with ScarScape)

Wow if this is not a scam, very impressive. Static colors would make randoms solvable and almost everything much much easier.

    Hi all,

I'm happy this was of interest to some of you. Unfortunately I have no additional information to give you at this time.

    Off topic:

I haven't been around the colour clicking scene for quite some time. I'm wondering if Simba has a built-in way of receiving non-colour information? (For example player location, stats, and so forth.) Or maybe there is an existing extension for this?

If not, are there any threading options for working with Sockets in Simba?

    Thanks,
    Richard

I think BenLand100 is the person to talk to. Simba itself has nothing to do with Runescape, but we use Ben's SMART to load up the RS client. So if any information drawn from Runescape, it's probably done there.

Sockets I have no idea; I'm hoping Wizzup will answer that. My knowledge is very limited.

Not in Simba itself. Through SMART yes (reflection hooks).
