    Default Do you fear death?

    Simple question for a difficult topic.

    If you do not fear death, why not, if you do then how do you cope with it?

    (note; I did a quick search and did not find this topic, but if it exists, I am sorry.)

    I do not, it comes for me some day anyway, it's a part of your life.
    I've just accepted it.

    Hmmh. I personally fear death..and I don't really understand how some one can ignore it. The fact that everything will end, your thoughts, memories is beyond terrifying. An eternity on nothingness. It sometimes drives me half insane thinking about it..but I do try to ignore it and most of the time succeed in doing so.

    I do fear dead. And for that reason I want to live to the fullest, doing something new everyday. If you aren't afraid of death, why would you live?

    I don't ignore it, I accept it. You shouldn't think about it that much... And some believe that your spirit lives on, it's just the body that your spirit leaves.

    Yes some do think that the spirit lives on, however I am not one of them.

    Oh well.

    I fear dying without knowing like dying in my sleep I want the chance to repent I guess don't won't to die without having my last say

    Yet I do not fear dying live for the moment don't miss opportunity s take what you and can give in return and be yourself.

    Everyone will died at some point that's just life. Just accept it. In the mean time make the most of your life instead of wasting it. Play sports, get heathy, make friends, get a girlfriend or even scripting if you want to ( not my preference) are things you should do to live a happy life. If you are worrying about death you must be missing something out of your life like what i stated above. Maybe work on them things?

    I think of death like this- I don't think anyone fears death, we just fear dying too early, because we all have dreams and aspirations that we want to fulfill. Whether it's raising a family, having that "toy" you always wanted such as a fast car/boat/etc or even traveling to places you want to really see. I feel that after all of this as humans we accept it, but only because we did what we wanted to in life.

    So me? I don't fear death, I fear not being able to do the things I want to do in life before I die.

    I'm not scared of death, after someone told me how to face a demon. When I think about ghosts, deaths, demons I just think of it like this. ''Comeatmebro, let's go.'' Just think of it like you can take on anything. Makes you feel great and boosts self confidence!

    I wouldn't fear death. Because fearing death attracts more fear to death, which could actually lead me to incidents of dying or death.

    I do fear it, but not my own, an eternity of nothingness is almost welcome sometimes.

    Hmm. It's not something you can do much about.
    There's not much (if anything) you can do about a random/unpredictable event that may kill you. My thought is people can think logically.
    Do you fear being raped?
    Do you fear being burned? (How can you be burned if there's no fire around?)
    I fear being badly burned, but it's not something I fear when there's no fire around. (Actually, I love fire..)
    I fear being hit by a car in certain situations, but it's not something I fear at this moment on my computer. I think this is why death is different. People overly fear and worry* about it because it is something ominous, that could happen anywhere, and unpredictable. These people should try to think logically about risk of death and what they are doing.

    *Worry is not a synonym of concern in this case

    I fear death.

    If you really do not want to cease to exist, you can try becoming immortal, studying, researching, etc. I can understand the concern if you place too much importance on becoming immortal, given how improbable it might be to obtain, but I wouldn't advise letting such an endeavor take up your life (maybe your career, though)

    I'm kind of afraid of the part before dying, if I'll go through pain or suffocation/drowning (the worst in my mind) rather than actually being dead. Hopefully I'll go quickly. But I think everyone wants that.

    life-death all of this is relative it doesnt matter. l you cant count life whit minutes or days, you count by experiences.
    you can buy me, my work, my goals, even you can buy my spirit, but Theres something youll never buy. my indomitable thirst of life.

    Death is a warm and endless feeling. I almost died in the hospital once and I believe I 'Saw' death. It was just pure blackness, no light was shining in from the hospital lights. And I felt warm and safe. I don't think anyone should fear death as it's inevitable and it gives you a relief you can not find anywhere in the world.
    Simba Code:
    (* Main *)

    repeat
      WriteLn('I am an idiot!');
    until(False);
