    Can this bug be reproduced?

    yes

    Script & Location

    TRYING to run MSI Mining

    Bug Description

I HAVE tried wielding the mighty search tool, and checking for updates in MSI SPS, extensions and srl multiple times. It will not let me update to simba 984, i am stuck on 980; this is probably because I dont have administrator priviliges on my computer.

When I click update, i get the below:

    ---------- Update Session ----------
    Starting download of http://Simba.villavu.com/bin/Windows...able/Simba.exe ...
Download stopped at 0%... Simba did not successfully update.
    Deleting the ghost file (C:\Simba\\Simba.exe_)

This could be irrelevant, or it could be causing it. Either way, I need to run MSI. That is all that is important to me. Unless there is a critical update, in my mind, i dont need it.

    Thank you in advance.
This seems like a good program, so I am looking foward to using it.

    Debug Text

    Progress Report:
Exception in Script: Unable to find file 'sps/sps.simba' used from 'C:\Simba\Includes\MSI/MSI/Core/Setup.simba'

    Additional Information

    Thanks,

Go to simba install directory -> plugins. Do you see sps.dll?

You need an updated Simba. It has several crucial updates. Try running Simba as an administrator, then try updating again.

Also, go to Simba/Includes/SPS and make sure there's an sps.simba file. And I'm assuming you've enabled the sps.sex extension?

I reinstalled the program, to a new directory. I am now on simba ver 982. I am now getting:
Exception in Script: Unable to find file 'sps/sps.simba' used from 'C:\Users\mark\Desktop\Simba\Includes\MSI/MSI/Core/Setup.simba'

Obviously it is different (slightly) because it is in a different directory.
How do I get the friggin thing to stop!

You tried what it says here? And you still don't have the latest version. Try the installer from here.
