True, but I am talking about mainstream not just a small group

Annoying Genre and most of the "pro" DJ's can have their stuff reproduced in minutes, which is pathetic.

Dubstep and screamo are the only genres in existence that I can't stand, disco, polka and crap like that are even better.

Dubstep will probably just be another Drum n Bass until another subgenre spawns from it

dubstep died when all these little kids wearing trucker caps listenin to rusko crawled outa the wall. the real dubstep was bein played 3-4 years ago....

and ive been mixing the shit since before then.

it's a phase to all of the scene kids, like everything else, emo's, goth's you name it, they see a new trend and stick to it like shit, even the raves round the ends are now populated by little faggots that probably listened to mcr a week ago. lol

3-4 years ago dubstep use to be completely different, also known as seizure dub... The new artists changed it and added a mainstream touch to it, that is the reason for all the hype up.

meh, the hype up has ruined alot of shit tbh, i was playing a warehouse rave a few weeks back, and nobody was skanking. they were.... moshing? to dubstep? i mean, dubstep + mosh... wdf. like seriously wdf.

    we went from:

    Garage > Bassline > Dubstep > Yankee Bro-Step > Skrillex emo step o.O

the real underground scene is still live & kicking, but im not sure how long that will last, they've started to find out the names of the good clubs, so i think before long, dubstep will be torn up, spat out and left a mangled wreck just like trance.

Trance is still where it's at though, just gotta look for the good stuff. I've noticed "scene kids" start and ruin every new fad that comes around. They are the real source of the death of dubstep.

as you can see... the stuff i listen to... that... is... dubstep...
    hell i could even add

Hatcha: star wars VIP or Mala: Left leg out, thats dubstep straight outa the fuckin dubwoofer

and im barely even scratching the surface, i tend not to release the dubstep i find for fear of other artists being ruined, y'know skrillex is only big because skream gave him publicity with his first album and ended off pushing him in the direction of annie mac

    edit:

indeed, with trance it was'nt scene kids though it was chav nation, ended off turning trance events into nights of being stabbed, went from dropping £20 disco biscuits to getting taken away in an ambulance with a 12" carving knife in you, BUT if you look hard enough you can still find a major culture of oldskool trance heads, im guessing the same will happen to dubstep, it's a new genre, kids jus heard about it, they gonna fap, get wet then move on, as always

Skrillex has one, maybe two good songs. He repeats A LOT of tracks in every mix he makes. Only reason why dubstep is big is because Skirllex blew up.

Underground, basement dubstep is the best.

Few years ago dubstep didn't even seem to exist. Now it's the "kewl thing". It won't last forever, nothing does.
