    Default How do you get DTM's to free properly after pressing stop

    Ok, we can all put a freedtms procedure in our scripts and then get the script to free them before terminating itself say if a certain amount of logs are chopped or spells are casted etc.

    But how do we get it to free when the script is stopped manually?
    Because it build's up a lot of Memory leaks say if your script messes up and you need to stop it manually

    Use AddOnTerminate.

    Edit: By the way, DTMs are freed upon script execution.

    Not when stopped manually. I've used AddOnTerminate and they often aren't freed when the script is stopped manually.

    They are freed for me at least.

    Pretty much 99 percent of the time I stop a script including srl I often get "Not freed [1, 2, 3]" type messages.

    Do you do a force quit, by hittting the stop button twice? If so, that's the issue.

    I hit stop then wait for it to stop itself, usually stops after the method that's running is finished.

    No, it is letting you know that they weren't freed by the script, but by Simba instead.
