    Default A long walk

    I'm writing a script that walks from edge to air obelisk... which is a far distance. I have a bunch of DTMs, 3 for every point I'm walking to to be sure they are found, but they are never found.

    The only reason I can think of is the colors on the mini map are dynamic. Is DTM walking no longer a possibility with the new anti color bot nuke?

    I'm using DTMs, over SPS and ObjectDTM as SPS will return the wrong location in some areas, and object DTMs does not always find the dtms. SPS and Object DTM are my backup walking methods.

    afaik the color bot nuke hasn't happened yet.

    I don't know the route needed to take so I wont be too helpful but you could try radialwalk?

    I made one already, don't release it PLEASE.
    Use it to apply for members! It'll crash prices ALOT if it's public.

    The first script I tried making was an Aio orb making script using DTM walking.

    Let me tell you this: Don't use DTM walking for long distances. For a single point here and there, it works nicely but I wouldn't recommend using it it in an orb making script. It's just too difficult, and there are too many ways for it to go wrong. I'd recommend using SPS for all of it. Some people don't like SPS for one reason or another, but I think it works fine.

    mmm, this is pretty much a personal opinion, I always use DTM for Walking and It only took time to master and a lot of try until you guess really how DTM walking really work when the script is using it.

    For example, If you read Demise Tutorial, she said to never use Wall as a reference, but in some case, You can use a wall as a point for your DTM, but only time and practice will tell you when you can and when you can't. Also, Tolerance play a big role when using DTM Walking Method, so if you set a too High tolerance or a too low tolerance, it will result into a Script end, because it couldn't find the patch or it couldn't find the next point since you clicked at a wrong place due to a High tolerance or not well-made DTM.

    But Nebula made a good point, SPS is the Easy road to make Long walking path!

    It's just the facts that other players and NPCs can cover most points, and the points that can't be covered by NPCs/players are things like walls which when the camera is rotated, Aren't straight at all.

    use SPS. Way easier. or make lots of small sps paths and make it click dtms in the mean time? for example, walks from edge bank to broken down house with coffins, find coffin dtm and stop walking. Climb down ladder. SPS path again till gate. New SPS path around till the monkey bar things, Swap to run, New SPS path run past demons. DTM for ladder. Climb.

    SPS doesn't work well in some areas, and I suspect the same in the dungeon, as it has very similar colors all around

    I was using DTMs, but with no tolerance. With tolerance DTMs have been fine =]

    Going to try radial walk, and when it works ill start making my DTM/SPS/OBJDTM path lol

    Took a whiiile just to get a path from bank to trap door, only to find out it didn't work lol
    EDIT: if prices drop ill remove of course, but this was the script that was requested dude. I don't believe SRL is large enough to affect the prices in runescape. Most users dont like it because it seems complex if your a leecher >.>

    15 is generally a good walking tolerance. and as for prices, http://stats.villavu.com/user/all
    if you notice all of the chengs and the fact that there are 5 of them and they are fairly new accounts being 9000 some id wise. and one of them has 2054 days already. Only using steel bars clearly for profit and goldfarming. if you release it the profit will drop instantly from them

    Iv been using a tolerance of 8 of dtms, will try 20 lol
