Tournament Format
4-Round Swiss
All players will play all four rounds. There is no elimination.

Rules
1. All games are to be played in 30 minute per player format on the Funorb Chess website, which can be accessed
here.
2. All game times are to be decided between each set of paired players via private messages on Villavu, Runescape, or Funorb. Do
NOT use this thread to decide when you are going to play with your opponent!
3. Any game not completed within the allotted round time (five days) will result in a forfeit by both players unless proof of attempt to contact opponent is given.
4. Only one (1) game per pairing per round. No take-backs or restarts are allowed.
5. The use of any thing other than your brain to assist in chess playing is strictly prohibited. This includes other humans, chess books, chess engines, and/or databases.
If you suspect your opponent of cheating during the game, post a screenshot of the moves made during the game and review and appropriate action will be taken.
6.Game results must be posted on THIS forum, along with a screenshot of the final position of the game with both players' usernames visible.
Prize?
The winner of the First Annual Villavu Chess Championship will forever be glorified in this very spot, along with all the bragging rights that come with the territory!
