    Default Need a project

    Hi gaize :-)
    long time no speak.
So for the last couple of weeks I have been learning html and CSS.
I was wondering if anyone has a (reasonably small) website project they want doing?
    Obviously would be free :-P

I have no projects in need of completion; but perhaps I can offer some advice instead.

I found myself in your place first when I was learning HTML, then when I was learning PHP, and once more when I decided to go back and fix up my knowledge of HTML (note, I do mean HTML/CSS.) However, it can be hard work finding projects for other people; work that is better spent actually developing.

What I started to do was browse freelance websites, coding forums, etc. and see projects that had been completed in the past. I'd work through their request; whether for them or not was irrelevant; it's great help to post these finished projects on coding forums for criticism.

The important thing to make sure is that you are spending as much time as you can in a text editor trying things out. Try techniques which you may have ignored before, focus on the areas you really struggle with opposed to cutting the corners as you may have done to fit a timeline.

This advice is probably something you could think up yourself, but it's what really did help me.
