Default Hello from a VERY Old Member. QUESTIONS! HelP Please!

Hello, I havent botted using SCAR, as it was called when I started, for many years. Now that I am in college, I am going to start botting again in order to make some money on the side. I was wondering, how reliable are the bots nowadays for simba? Does the bot support multiple accounts? I plan on running about 30 at a time, I have plenty of CPU so that is not the issue, I was wondering if simba can have this many. Is this linux supported? Thank you for your help!

okay. Are you guys cool with gold farming? Because I know powerbot is not allowing it. How stable are the bots? Can I run it for 20 hours without fail?Epicbot tends to F up somewhere about an hour or 2 into botting.

Well it all depends on how good the scripts are to be honest....

I've seen some MSI scripts run past 20 hours...

I assume there are no limits to the number of bots you can run?

The only limits are that of your hardware, however gold farming is discouraged here...I recommend that you don't .

LOL. Looks like he took the advice well. -_____-

30 accounts...good lord. This is the problem with Runescape. Not individual botting.

He probably thinks Color = Reflection, truth is it takes 2-3 times more CPU to run color than it did reflection, not to mention RS is way more demanding now with all the dynamic cheese

Think it takes more CPU to run it through Wine than if you were in Windows btw

Yeah, Simba/Smart use ALOT more cpu then reflection did, + rs seems to use like 2x after the bot nuke :x

Full linux support is in the works™ and technically exists just not officially. The Lape interpreter works on all platforms, and SMARTv7.0 has core functionality implemented for all platforms, but you're not going to get that with the basic installer (yet, anyway, you can wait for an official release if you're patient), you'll have to download and set it up yourself.

But as far as 30 bots goes, good luck. With a average high end (yes, it's oxymoron if you read it incorrectly) computer 10 would be majorly pushing it, and would probably be way too much overhead for most scripts to be responsive. That being said, if you're not ram limited you should be able to manage with 2 bots per core. (I kind of made that up, but the number seems reasonable)

I don't think a lot of people will like it. There are several threads asking to not do this.

Just when you thought RS couldn't get worst, everyone decides to come and bot 30 accounts for the sake of bringing back pre-nuke rs
