Anyone wanna donate? haha thanks :P
that ip is probably a vps sir. no one would hack without one. either a vps or a vpn. dont go to driveby sites or whatnot.
tl;dr you're fucked.
Always remember, if its too good to be true, it is.
I got hacked in end of february, the kid had used my [old] email to recover my runescape account, he got absolutely nothing fortunately as there is no way he can have my pin number since he "recovered" it, I ended up whiping my computer to 0's and reinstalling windows 7 [because at the time I could not determine the hackers source of obtaining my information], I suggest for you to do the same.
Edit: be careful as well, on top of having my runescape account - he hacked my Facebook + had access to any email linked to the old email I had, when he tried to recover my FB I got a text and locked my FB account, and FB is also a method of signing into runescape unfortunately.
also sad to hear someone getting hacked![]()
I know the feeling, i got hacked 2 days ago and lost a similar amount to you.
I did use epicbot although i doubt it was them but who knows, i didnt catch the IP because i didnt know i had been hacked until i logged in and my account was cleaned.
Tracing the IP won't work very well as people tend to use proxies in their web browsers (me being one of them :O) so some of the time I'll be living in china or india. Lol.
If you want to play rs again, you have to format your harddrive. It is a RAT for sure, probably well crypted enough to stay (F)UD even for your AV. (Or the client is updating the server often)
You can download several thread-scanners, that will look for suspicious processes, where the RAT has been injected. Deleting anything from AppData/.. won't help, because 99 percent of the time the .exe is hidden or not even there. You could scan threads like svchost, winlogon, service and so on.
