    Default SPS Help

I am writing a script and for some reason the SPS is working very slow. I haven't changed anything in the main SPS file but it is taking forever to click the next spot in the chain of points. All of my other scripts are still working fine but this one particular script is not. I am calling the walking paths in the exact same manner as the other scripts I have written.

I want to keep the script private, so if any experienced scripters would like to help me out then I would have no problem sending my script to him/her.

It should also be mentioned that I am using SPS 2.0. Any ideas would be very helpful!

Are you using SPS_WalkToPos? I find that to be much slower. If you use SPS_WalkPath it works much smoother.

I am walking in West Falador and by the Taverly Dungeon. Is this area buggy?

I am using SPS_WalkPath. Didn't even know SPS_WalkToPos was an option!

Yea it will walk to a point if you use that, but It works slower for me. I'm not sure which areas are buggy and which aren't though, as I don't really use SPS much.

I see well the area by Tavereley dungeon was updated right? If so you need the new images to have a working path there

I assumed that the images would be updated in SPS 2.0, but perhaps I should have not assumed! Are there updated images floating around, or should I make my own?

Edit - I used the search function (I know, very creative) and discovered some updated images! I will report back if that fixes my problem.

Edit 2 - Well, I updated the SPS images and the is still quite a delay in the clicking of points.

Well, that didn't solve it! I used your images and the other one's that I found but the SPS is still very slow to respond. Would you be so kind as to allow me to send you the script and you look over it?

You should use a different method to walk. Like ObjDTM or DTM Walking(Chapter 4).
